Chat Support Representative - Remote Work

Job Description:

FirstRand is seeking a motivated and experienced Chat Support Representative to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As an Associate Level Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat platforms. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with our products or services.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through online chat to provide support, answer questions, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner. 2. Research and troubleshoot customer issues to provide accurate and efficient solutions. 3. Utilize persuasive communication skills to guide customers through problem-solving processes and promote additional products or services when appropriate. 4. Maintain customer records and documentation of interactions for future reference and analysis. 5. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless and consistent customer support. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers and enhance the overall customer experience. 7. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.

Requirements: 1. 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with customers in a remote setting. 3. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment. 4. Proficient in conducting research and utilizing resources to provide accurate information and solutions. 5. Ability to persuade and guide customers towards the best course of action. 6. Prior experience with online chat platforms or customer service software is a plus. 7.
