Job Description - Contact Center Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:


Absa Group Limited is seeking a reliable and hardworking Contact Center Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will be remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. As an Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients through a variety of communication channels.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and general questions. 3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 5. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and issues. 6. Utilize effective people management and negotiation skills to handle challenging customer situations. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. 6. Reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for remote work. 7. Prior experience in a remote work setting is preferred. 8. Ability to inject a sense of joy and vibrancy into the work environment.
