Contact Center Specialist - Remote Work

Position Summary: Anglo American Platinum is seeking a Contact Center Specialist for remote work in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This part-time, entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience and is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, adaptable, and possess strong project management and critical thinking skills. As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, resolving inquiries and issues, and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries - Providing information about products and services - Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner - Escalating complex problems to the appropriate department or supervisor - Documenting all interactions with customers in the company's CRM system - Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction ratings - Collaborating with team members to improve processes and share best practices - Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service or contact center role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Familiarity with CRM systems and call center software - High school diploma or equivalent required - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
