Job Description - Contact Center Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:


Shoprite Holdings is looking for a Contact Center Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis in Cape Town, Western Cape. As an Associate Level role with at least 2 years of experience, the Contact Center Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers through various communication channels.


Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls, emails, and online chat inquiries from customers in a timely and professional manner - Resolving customer issues and concerns by providing accurate and relevant information - Processing orders, returns, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Utilizing strategic planning and adaptability to overcome challenges and meet performance goals - Keeping detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system - Continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the contact center operations


Requirements: - At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role - Resilient and confident personality traits to handle challenging customer interactions - Strong communication skills and ability to empathize with customers - Strategic planning and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Proficiency in using CRM systems and other contact center technologies - Flexibility to work part-time hours and weekends as needed - High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred
