Customer Care Associate - Remote Work

Exxaro Resources, a leading mining company based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Customer Care Associate to join our remote work team on a part-time basis. As an Entry Level position, we require a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls, responding to customer inquiries via email, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner - Handle customer orders, returns, and exchanges with efficiency and accuracy - Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members - Use negotiation skills to address challenging customer situations effectively - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive innovation in customer care strategies and processes - Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times - Meet or exceed customer service metrics and goals set by the company - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively - Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend shifts as needed
