Customer Service Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:

Gold Fields, a leading mining company in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, is currently seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to work remotely. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in customer service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, resilient, have strong decision-making skills, and possess natural leadership abilities.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with product information, order processing, and issue resolution. 3. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through active listening and empathetic communication. 4. Collaborate with other team members to address customer concerns and find solutions. 5. Document all customer interactions and provide feedback to management on trends and areas for improvement. 6. Stay up to date on company products, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of customer service experience. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong decision-making abilities and a natural inclination towards leadership. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. 5. Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite. 6. High school diploma or equivalent required.
