Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Officer to join our team at Nedbank Group. This is a part-time remote work position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients while working independently in a remote setting. This is an Associate Level position and we require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and a customer-centric approach. 3. Process customer orders and assist with account management tasks. 4. Utilize strategic planning to identify and implement solutions to improve customer satisfaction. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information. 6. Maintain customer records and ensure data accuracy in our systems. 7. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and issues.
Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote setting. 2. Independent and resilient personality traits. 3. People management and strategic planning soft skills. 4. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a financial services environment. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required.
