Customer Service Specialist - Remote Work

We are looking for a motivated and driven Customer Service Specialist to join our team at AngloGold Ashanti. This is a remote work position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service through various communication channels including phone, email, and chat. 2. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. 3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience. 5. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. 6. Contribute to the development of customer service strategies and best practices. 7. Stay up-to-date on products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Assist with training new customer service team members as needed.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations. 4. Creativity in finding solutions to complex customer issues. 5. Experience in people management and mentoring. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 8. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus.
