Job Description - Customer Support Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:


AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Customer Support Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will be remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in your work location. As a mid-to-senior level professional, the ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in customer support roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer service best practices and effective team management.


Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the customer support team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery. 2. Develop and implement customer support strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. 3. Manage customer escalations and provide timely resolutions to ensure customer concerns are addressed efficiently. 4. Analyze customer support data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance overall customer experience. 6. Lead training and development initiatives for the customer support team to improve performance and capabilities. 7. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on customer support initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.


Requirements: 1. 8+ years of experience in customer support roles, with a proven track record of success in managing customer service teams. 2. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. 4. Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation and accountability. 5. Hardworking and confident personality traits, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams. 6. Demonstrated cooperation and teamwork skills to foster a positive and productive work environment. 7. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
