Job Description - Customer Support Representative - Remote Work


Job Description:


FirstRand is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Customer Support Representative to join our remote team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As an Entry Level position, no prior experience is required but a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment is essential. This part-time role offers opportunities for personal and professional growth, with flexible working hours to accommodate various schedules.


Responsibilities: - Providing top-notch customer support via phone, email, and chat - Addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner - Resolving customer issues and escalating complex cases to the appropriate department - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborating with team members to improve overall customer satisfaction - Assisting with various administrative tasks and projects as needed


Requirements: - Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations - Proficiency in basic computer applications and customer support software - Prior experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not required - Personality traits: dedicated, adaptable - Soft skills: people management, persuasion
