Job Description - Customer Support Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:


FirstRand is seeking a reliable and passionate Customer Support Specialist to join our team in a remote work position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As an entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in the financial services industry.


Responsibilities: - Provide top-quality customer support via phone, email, and chat to resolve inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Utilize persuasion skills to upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers as appropriate - Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure a seamless experience - Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed - Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services to effectively assist customers - Keep detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as necessary


Requirements: - 1 year of customer support experience preferred - Reliable and passionate individual with excellent communication skills - Strong persuasion and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - High school diploma or equivalent required
