Live Chat Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Investec is seeking a dedicated and motivated Live Chat Assistant to join our remote team based in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA. This part-time entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or support role.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via live chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with account management, troubleshooting, and general inquiries. 3. Collaborate with the rest of the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience. 4. Document customer interactions and feedback for analysis and improvement purposes. 5. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 6. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. 7. Adhere to company guidelines and policies regarding customer data privacy and security.

Requirements: 1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2. Strong emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers. 3. Creative problem-solving skills. 4. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members. 5. Proficiency in using live chat software and CRM systems. 6. High school diploma or equivalent required. 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
