Job Description - Account Support Manager - Work from home

Job Description:


We are looking for a part-time Account Support Manager to join our team at Standard Bank Group. This is a work-from-home position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA, with a seniority level of mid-to-senior. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner. 2. Build strong relationships with clients and act as the main point of contact for any account-related queries. 3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. 4. Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their accounts and any upcoming changes. 5. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to existing clients. 6. Analyze account performance and provide recommendations for improvement. 7. Develop account management strategies to increase customer satisfaction and retention.


Requirements: 1. Resilient and adaptable personality traits. 2. Strong adaptability and people management skills. 3. Experience in account management or a related field. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
