Job Description:
As a Call Center Representative at Sanlam in Pretoria, Gauteng, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, issues, and product information. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires at least 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner - Making outbound calls to follow up on customer requests or resolve issues - Providing accurate information about products and services offered by Sanlam - Handling customer complaints and escalations with empathy and efficiency - Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Sanlam's products and services - Meeting and exceeding individual and team performance targets - Collaborating with team members to improve overall customer satisfaction - Documenting all interactions and maintaining detailed customer records - Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and be resourceful in resolving customer issues - Demonstrated teamwork and negotiation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software - Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Fluent in English and any additional languages is a bonus
