Job Description:
Telkom SA is seeking a motivated and dedicated Chat Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home. As an Associate Level team member, the Chat Support Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various online chat platforms.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance in a timely and professional manner. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent and accurate information is being provided to customers. 4. Conduct research and analysis to provide informed responses to customer queries. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for further assistance. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to better assist customers. 8. Provide feedback to improve customer service processes and procedures. 9. Work closely with team leaders to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong research and analytical skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficient in using online chat platforms and customer service software. 6. High school diploma or equivalent required. 7. Motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
