Remote Chat Support Associate

Job Description:

Mr Price Group is seeking a Remote Chat Support Associate to join our team based out of Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This part-time role is at the Associate level and requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. As a Remote Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support through chat interactions, resolving customer inquiries, and offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide support via chat in a professional and timely manner - Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with customers and address their needs - Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate department - Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records of all communications - Collaborate with team members to share best practices and enhance the overall customer experience - Meet or exceed performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to better assist customers

Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Passionate and driven individual with excellent communication skills - Strong emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers - Proficient in time management and planning to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision - Experience using chat support software and CRM systems - High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
