Chat Support Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:

Sanlam is looking for a motivated and experienced Chat Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in Cape Town, Western Cape. As an Associate-level professional with at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients through chat communication.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services through chat support. 2. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate department or individual. 3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times. 4. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and foster a positive working environment. 5. Analyze customer feedback and trends to provide strategic planning recommendations for continuous improvement. 6. Meet and exceed chat support performance metrics and goals.

Requirements: 1. Confident and resilient personality traits to effectively communicate and problem-solve with customers. 2. Strong analysis and strategic planning skills to identify opportunities for process improvement. 3. Prior experience working in a customer service or chat support role for at least 2 years. 4. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
