Job Description - Client Support Assistant

Exxaro Resources is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Client Support Assistant to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and possess the personality traits of being energetic and resilient.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients through various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions. 2. Assist clients with inquiries, issue resolution, and product/service information. 3. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions. 4. Collaborate with team members to provide holistic support to clients. 5. Monitor client satisfaction levels and escalate any issues to the appropriate channels. 6. Assist in the development and implementation of client support strategies. 7. Continuously improve client support processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 8. Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a client support role. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Energetic and resilient personality traits. 7. Presentation skills. 8. Knowledge of the mining industry (preferred but not required).
