Job Description - Client Support Manager

As the Client Support Manager at Kumba Iron Ore in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client support services. This part-time position is ideal for a candidate with 7 years of experience at a mid-to-senior level who is dedicated, energetic, and possesses strong analytical and decision-making skills.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of client support specialists to provide excellent service to our clients. 2. Develop and implement client support policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. 3. Monitor and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement in our services. 4. Coordinate with other departments to address client issues and ensure timely resolution. 5. Conduct regular training sessions for the client support team to enhance their skills and performance. 6. Prepare regular reports on client support activities and performance metrics for senior management. 7. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote client retention and satisfaction.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. Proven experience in client support or customer service roles, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar capacity. 3. Strong leadership and team management skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. Knowledge of the mining industry is a plus.
