Contact Center Associate

Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore is seeking a part-time Contact Center Associate to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a strong work ethic, motivation, and adaptability.

Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with inquiries, issues, and complaints - Make outbound calls to follow up with customers or provide updates on their requests - Use negotiation and cooperation skills to resolve customer concerns effectively - Document all interactions with customers accurately in the system - Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met - Meet or exceed performance goals in areas such as call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction - Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and customer service skills

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - No prior experience required, but customer service experience is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes - Motivated and adaptable personality traits - Soft skills in negotiation and cooperation - Must be able to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
