Contact Center Officer - Work from home

Job Description:

Investec, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Contact Center Officer to work remotely from home in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This part-time entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or contact center role. As a Contact Center Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients through various communication channels.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from clients regarding their financial accounts. 2. Assist clients with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution. 3. Educate clients on products and services offered by the company. 4. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to clients. 5. Document all client interactions accurately in the CRM system. 6. Meet and exceed performance targets for call quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 7. Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and enhance the customer experience. 8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product offerings to provide clients with accurate information.

Requirements: 1. Resilient and motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment. 2. Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail. 3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. 5. Basic understanding of financial products and services. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service is a plus.
