Job Description - Contact Center Representative

Job Description:


Vodacom Group is seeking a passionate and confident Contact Center Representative to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level team member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. This part-time position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional manner. 2. Resolving customer issues and complaints with efficiency and empathy. 3. Providing information about products and services to customers. 4. Escalating complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution. 5. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Collaborating with team members to improve overall customer satisfaction. 7. Following company protocols and procedures at all times.


Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in a customer service or contact center role. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently. 4. Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate others. 5. Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service. 6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 8. High school diploma or equivalent required.


Personality Traits: 1. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service. 2. Confident in handling customer inquiries and issues.
