Job Description:
Standard Bank Group is seeking a Remote Contact Center Specialist to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a contact center or customer service role. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, confident, and possess strong time management and adaptability skills.
Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues - Manage customer accounts and update information as necessary - Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to customers - Follow established protocols and procedures for handling customer interactions - Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure customer needs are met - Meet and exceed performance goals and metrics set by management
Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a contact center or customer service role - Resourceful and confident personality traits - Strong time management and adaptability skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software platforms - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in banking or financial services is a plus
