Job Description - Customer Care Specialist

Job Description:


The Customer Care Specialist at MTN Group in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. As a part-time Associate Level employee, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.


Responsibilities: 1. Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Resolving customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Updating customer information in the database accurately and efficiently. 4. Collaborating with other team members to share customer feedback and improve processes. 5. Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to customers. 6. Providing recommendations for product improvements based on customer feedback. 7. Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the company's products and services. 8. Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.


Requirements: 1. Hardworking and resourceful attitude to handle challenging customer situations. 2. Strong people management skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. 3. Creativity to come up with innovative solutions to customer problems. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 6. Flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and business priorities. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
