Job Description - Customer Service Manager

Job Description:


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team at Absa Group Limited in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As a mid-to-senior level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Oversee and lead a team of customer service representatives to provide excellent service to our clients - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Handle escalated customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner - Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Train, mentor and coach customer service staff to ensure high performance - Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline customer service operations - Prepare and present regular reports on customer service performance to senior management


Requirements: - Proven experience as a Customer Service Manager or similar role - Strong leadership and people management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Strategic planning and problem-solving skills - Driven and independent personality traits - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
