Job Description - Remote Customer Support Assistant

Job Description:


MTN Group is seeking a talented Remote Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer support role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our remote customers.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. 2. Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. 3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 4. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution. 5. Keep up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies. 6. Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes. 7. Provide feedback to management on customer trends and common issues. 8. Meet and exceed performance goals and quality standards.


Requirements: 1. Resilient and reliable personality traits. 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Ability to think innovatively and problem-solve effectively. 4. Excellent time management and organizational skills. 5. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. 6. Proficiency with customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
