Job Description - Remote Customer Support Manager

Job Description:


We are currently seeking a Remote Customer Support Manager to join our team at Sanlam. The ideal candidate will be located in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA, and will work on a part-time basis at a mid-to-senior level. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in customer support management.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a remote team of customer support representatives, ensuring that they provide excellent customer service. 2. Develop and implement customer support strategies to improve overall customer satisfaction. 3. Monitor and analyze customer support metrics to identify areas for improvement. 4. Serve as the escalation point for complex customer issues and provide timely resolutions. 5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve the overall customer experience. 6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the customer support team. 7. Create and maintain customer support documentation and training materials. 8. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in customer support.


Requirements: 1. Hardworking and dedicated individual with a strong work ethic. 2. Excellent leadership and negotiation skills. 3. Minimum of 6 years of experience in customer support management. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in customer support software and tools. 7. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
