Job Description - Customer Support Officer

Job Description:


Remgro is seeking a part-time Customer Support Officer to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an Entry Level position, no prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in customer support.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat channels. 2. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner. 3. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Identify and escalate high priority issues to the appropriate department. 6. Assist in creating training materials for new and existing customer support team members. 7. Continuously seek ways to improve customer satisfaction and the overall customer support process.


Requirements: 1. Adaptable and confident personality traits to effectively handle a variety of customer situations. 2. Strong people management skills with the ability to effectively communicate and empathize with customers. 3. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in resolving customer issues and documenting interactions. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software. 6. Fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus.
