Customer Support Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This is a part-time, work-from-home position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer support or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and live chat. 2. Assist customers with inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. 3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions. 4. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution. 5. Update customer information in the database accurately. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements: 1. Energetic and independent personality traits. 2. Strong decision-making and persuasion skills. 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 4. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 6. High school diploma or equivalent.
