Job Description - Live Chat Manager

Job Description:


Shoprite Holdings is looking for a part-time Live Chat Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As a mid-to-senior level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the live chat platform, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and concerns - Train and supervise a team of live chat agents to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently - Analyze chat transcripts and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement - Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales through the live chat channel - Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service, marketing, and IT, to optimize the live chat experience for customers - Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction score - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in live chat management


Requirements: - Reliable and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills - Demonstrated experience in managing a live chat team and platform - Strong cooperation and critical thinking skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in customer service software and tools - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
