Job Description - Live Chat Manager - Work from home

Job Description:


Massmart Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Chat Manager to join our team. This is a part-time, work from home position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a Live Chat Manager, you will be responsible for managing our live chat platform, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales through live chat interactions.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all live chat interactions with customers - Ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries - Monitor chat volume and respond to peaks in traffic effectively - Train and onboard new chat agents - Analyze chat data and provide insights to improve performance - Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience - Develop and implement strategic plans to increase chat engagement and conversion rates - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for live chat management - Provide regular reports on chat performance to senior management


Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a remote team - Strong analytical skills and experience with strategic planning - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - High level of empathy and understanding in all interactions - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Proficiency with live chat platforms and CRM systems - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
