Live Chat Officer

Job Description:

Sanlam is seeking a part-time Live Chat Officer to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an Associate Level employee with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service through our live chat platform.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through live chat to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all communication channels. 3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively assist customers with their queries and concerns. 4. Utilize strong communication skills to maintain a positive and helpful attitude with all customers. 5. Work efficiently to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements: 1. Personality traits: Hardworking and confident in your ability to provide excellent customer service. 2. Soft skills: Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively manage time to prioritize tasks. 3. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably with experience in live chat support. 4. Proficiency in written communication with strong typing skills. 5. Knowledge of Sanlam's products and services is a plus. 6. Must be able to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
