Live Chat Specialist

Job Description:

Sanlam is seeking a part-time Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a chat-based environment. The ideal candidate will be driven and energetic, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues - Utilize a variety of tools and resources to address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and accurately - Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all communication channels - Keep detailed records of all interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction - Proactively identify trends and recurring issues to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service or chat-based role - Excellent written communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - High school diploma or equivalent required
