Live Chat Specialist

Job Description:

Sanlam is seeking a dynamic and energetic Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Live Chat Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through live chat interactions on our website. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time via live chat to address inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues promptly and efficiently - Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to handle customer queries and concerns effectively - Utilize emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with customers' needs and emotions, ensuring a positive experience - Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent support and communication across all channels - Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and follow up as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements: - Energetic and confident personality with the ability to work well under pressure -Negotiation skills and emotional intelligence - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in using live chat platforms and customer service software - Knowledge of financial services and products is a plus
