Online Call Center Officer

Job Description: Old Mutual is looking for a proactive and adaptable Online Call Center Officer to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This position is part-time and at an associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers in a professional and efficient manner - Provide information and assistance to customers regarding products and services - Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and accurately - Update customer information in the database and maintain accurate records - Conduct research to resolve inquiries and provide accurate information - Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals - Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products - Follow call center scripts and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of service

Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Ability to adapt to new information and changing situations quickly - Proficiency in using call center software and CRM systems - High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred - Knowledge of financial services and insurance industry a plus - Must be driven and motivated to provide excellent customer service - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends - Strong research skills and ability to find information quickly
