Online Chat Support Assistant

Job Description:

Anglo American Platinum is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Online Chat Support Assistant to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. This part-time position at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide online chat support to customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. 2. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with customers. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues. 4. Use emotional intelligence to handle challenging customer interactions and diffuse potentially difficult situations. 5. Innovate and suggest new ways to improve the online chat support process for enhanced customer satisfaction. 6. Keep detailed records of customer interactions and feedback to assist in improving our services. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Assist with other customer service tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements: 1. 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 3. Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers. 4. Innovation skills to suggest new ideas for improving the customer service experience. 5. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
