Job Description:
Distell Group is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Online Chat Support Associate in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This part-time position at the Associate level requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or online support.
Responsibilities: 1. Provide prompt and courteous online chat support to customers regarding inquiries, issues, and feedback. 2. Assist customers with product information, order processing, and troubleshooting technical problems. 3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while communicating with customers. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 5. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and manage customer interactions. 6. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures for online support.
Requirements: 1. Energetic and driven personality with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. 2. Excellent cooperation and emotional intelligence skills to handle customer interactions effectively. 3. Proficiency in written communication with a focus on spelling, grammar, and clarity. 4. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced online chat environment. 5. Experience working in a customer service or support role, preferably in an online setting. 6. Familiarity with CRM software and online communication tools. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
