Online Chat Support Associate

Job Description: Alexander Forbes is seeking a dedicated and motivated Online Chat Support Associate to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. In this part-time, entry-level position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our online chat users. As an Online Chat Support Associate, you will interact with customers in real-time, answering their inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via online chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide accurate information and guidance to customers regarding products, services, and policies. 3. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently. 4. Collaborate with other team members to escalate complex problems to the appropriate department. 5. Conduct research and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and problem resolution. 6. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through active listening and empathy. 7. Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle difficult situations with diplomacy.

Requirements: 1. Hardworking and motivated individual with a strong work ethic. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5. Comfortable using online chat platforms and basic computer skills. 6. Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
