Online Chat Support Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Online Chat Support Officer to join our team at Foschini Group in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Online Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support channels. This is a part-time position at an Associate Level requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via online chat support in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide product information, pricing, availability, and order processing assistance to customers. 3. Proactively engage with customers to upsell and cross-sell products based on their needs and preferences. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience across all online platforms.

Requirements: 1. Strong written communication skills with a keen attention to detail. 2. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 3. Proficiency in using online chat support platforms and customer relationship management systems. 4. Resourceful and adaptable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 5. Excellent research and strategic planning skills. 6. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
