Online Chat Support Specialist

Job Description:

Massmart Holdings is seeking a part-time Online Chat Support Specialist to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, and possess the personality traits of being independent and hardworking. Soft skills such as analysis and emotional intelligence are also key requirements for success in this role.

Responsibilities: - Provide online chat support to customers, resolving their queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner - Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service - Identify trends and patterns in customer queries to improve overall customer experience - Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex issues - Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in online customer support or a related field - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong analytical skills to quickly assess customer needs and provide solutions - Emotional intelligence to handle challenging customer interactions with empathy and professionalism - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Proficiency in using chat support software and other customer service tools
