Job Description - Online Contact Center Manager

Job Description:


We are seeking a part-time Online Contact Center Manager to join our team at AngloGold Ashanti in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, be resourceful, and adaptable.


Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the online contact center, including coordinating with team members to ensure efficient and effective customer service. - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention through consistent communication and resolution of issues. - Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly. - Provide leadership and guidance to the contact center team, including training, coaching, and mentoring staff members. - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience. - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve contact center operations. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience in contact center management, with a focus on online customer service. - Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. - Demonstrated people management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues. - Familiarity with contact center technology, such as CRM systems and call center software. - Understanding of data analysis and reporting to drive decision-making. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
