Job Description - Online Contact Center Officer

Job Description:


Vodacom Group is seeking a skilled and dynamic Online Contact Center Officer to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle online customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback through various communication channels such as email, chat, and social media platforms. 2. Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, and promotions. 3. Proactively engage with customers to ensure a positive and satisfactory experience. 4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases when needed. 5. Use strategic planning and problem-solving skills to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products to provide relevant information to customers.


Requirements: 1. Confident and resilient personality traits to handle challenging customer interactions. 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 4. Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms. 5. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. 6. Strategic planning and organizational skills to manage workload efficiently. 7. Previous experience in a contact center or customer service role is preferred.
