Job Description - Online Contact Center Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Online Contact Center Officer to join our team at Absa Group Limited in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and respond to online customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide excellent customer service through various online channels including email, chat, and social media. 3. Handle customer complaints and troubleshoot any issues to ensure customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and escalate complex cases when necessary. 5. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while documenting customer interactions and resolutions. 6. Keep up to date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Assist in developing and implementing online customer service strategies to enhance the customer experience.


Requirements: 1. Must be resilient and energetic with a positive attitude. 2. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think on your feet. 3. Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work well in a team environment. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms. 6. Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as needed.
