Job Description - Online Customer Service Assistant

As an Online Customer Service Assistant at Capitec Bank in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to clients through various online channels such as email, chat, and social media. You will be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance or information regarding their accounts, products, or services.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with account management, transactions, and troubleshooting - Provide information about products and services offered by Capitec Bank - Resolve customer complaints or issues effectively and efficiently - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to better assist customers


Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in using computers and online communication tools - Motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic - Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate emotional intelligence - Previous experience in customer service is a plus but not required
