Job Description - Online Customer Service Associate

Rand Merchant Investment Holdings (RMI) is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Online Customer Service Associate in our Pretoria, Gauteng office. This is a part-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.


As an Online Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our online customers through various communication channels, including email, chat, and phone. You will assist customers with inquiries, orders, returns, and any other issues they may encounter. You will also be responsible for resolving customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.


Key responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Process customer orders, returns, and refunds accurately - Communicate effectively with customers through email, chat, and phone - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies - Identify and report trends in customer inquiries to help improve overall customer experience


Requirements: - Adaptability and reliability are essential traits for this role - Strong decision-making and communication skills are a must - 1 year of experience in a customer service role - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
