Online Customer Service Officer

Job Description:

Discovery Limited is seeking a dedicated and confident Online Customer Service Officer to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. As an Associate level position, the successful candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to all online customers through chat, email, and phone communication channels. 2. Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and efficient manner. 3. Assist customers with product information, order processing, and account management. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve the overall customer experience. 5. Utilize decision-making skills to provide solutions and escalate issues as necessary. 6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. 7. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 8. Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes to better assist customers.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers. 3. Proven experience in decision-making and project management. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends. 7. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
