Job Description - Online Customer Support Specialist

Job Description:


The Foschini Group is seeking a part-time Online Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA. As an Associate Level employee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support through online channels. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate solutions via email, chat, and social media platforms. 2. Assist customers with product information, order tracking, refunds, and exchanges. 3. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner. 4. Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times. 6. Collaborate with various departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 7. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.


Requirements: - Energetic and reliable personality traits. - Strong negotiation and research skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using online communication tools and customer support platforms. - Knowledge of e-commerce and retail industry practices. - High school diploma or equivalent.
