Online Live Chat Representative

Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Online Live Chat Representative to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess the personality traits of being energetic and resourceful.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers in real-time through online live chat to provide information, support, and assistance. 2. Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints efficiently and effectively. 3. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times. 4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with customers. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and customer service. 6. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in online customer service or live chat support. 2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 4. Emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers. 5. Proficiency in technology and experience using live chat software. 6. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 7. Knowledge of the mining industry is a plus but not required.
