Job Description - Online Support Assistant

Job Description:


MTN South Africa is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Online Support Assistant in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. As an Associate Level position, the Online Support Assistant is responsible for providing excellent online support to our customers through various digital channels.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues via online chat, email, and social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide guidance and assistance to customers in navigating our online platforms and services. 3. Collaborate with the customer service team to address escalated customer concerns and provide solutions. 4. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with online services and products. 5. Monitor online reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement and address customer satisfaction. 6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging online content and promotions. 7. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Identify trends and opportunities for improving the online customer experience.


Requirements: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or online support. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 5. Adaptable and energetic personality traits. 6. Soft skills in negotiation and people management. 7. Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms. 8. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
