Job Description - Online Support Manager

Job Description:


We are seeking a reliable and confident Online Support Manager to join our team at Absa Group Limited in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor online support channels (such as chat, email, social media) to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries - Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems efficiently - Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues - Analyze customer feedback and provide recommendations for process improvements - Train and mentor support staff to ensure high-quality customer service standards are met - Monitor key performance metrics and report on online support performance to management


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Persuasion skills to manage difficult customer interactions - Tech-savvy with a good understanding of online support platforms and tools - Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
